Load Bank Rentals & Sales

Load banks are vital pieces of testing equipment and are used to simulate full electrical loads on power sources. A load bank allows you to test your power supply without needing to connect it to the appliances and devices it’s intended to power. This reduces the risk of damaging your equipment, all while ensuring your backup power source functions reliably and safely.

Types of Load Banks We Supply

Resistive

These are best suited for standard AC voltages, though we also have options for DC voltages. If you are using it on a generator, a resistive load bank will achieve 80% of the kVA rating.

Reactive

Reactive load banks are used to test systems powered by electric motors or other electromagnetic equipment. They are also necessary for testing the full functionality of a generator.

Automatic

These load banks automatically apply load to ensure that generators can run properly at higher levels without sacrificing performance or increasing emissions.

Radiator-Mounted

These load banks are designed to mount on the radiator of a generating set so that the radiator fans can cool the resistive elements.

Capacitive

Capacitive load banks are our most precise option. With this type, operators can apply the exact load they need for testing.
